Luminosity Masking using Tony Kuyper’s Actions

Luminosity Masking

This is an exciting class that will present the theory  and utilization of Actions created by Tony Kuyper to do advanced luminosity masking.

I have received direct permission from Tony to teach this class and his intellectual property.  I’ve been working with Tony for a number of years on testing his tools and creating a custom panel.

This class assumes a working knowledge of layer masks.  I’ll be teaching how you can create layer masks based on the luminosity values (brightness) of the tones in your image.  This allows you to make very targeted adjustments to your image with perfect masks.  There are many other processing techniques I’ll present using the power of these masks and action sets including selections based on saturation, color channels, color ranges, infinity masking and much more.

This class has been updated to reflect the latest actions/panels from Tony.  We’re now on V6 for the Luminosity Masking Suite.  This version is  A HUGE step forward from the prior versions, so even if you have prior versions, you might be interested in the latest functionality provided in V6.

If you don’t already own Tony’s masks, I’ll show you how/where to purchase them, and install them.
